Specialist, Product Management

Overview:

The Services Business represents over a third of Mastercard revenues and is a key differentiator for Mastercard.

Within the Services organisation, this role supports the Business and Market Intelligence team in North America. This team develops products and solutions that create value for customers through Analytics, Insights, Business Experimentation, and Payment Consulting & Innovation.

As a Specialist supporting the North America Advanced Analytics portfolio, you will play a critical role in enabling the growth and commercial success of Mastercard's Data, Analytics and AI solutions. Working across a highly matrixed organisation, you will partner with sales, account management, product, delivery and client-facing teams to support commercial opportunities, drive go-to-market initiatives and help customers unlock value from Mastercard's analytics capabilities.

This role is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially minded and relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys translating complex product capabilities into actionable business solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the Data, Analytics, and AI solutions and assist with longer team strategy creation
• Assist the planning, coordination, and scaling of new solutions, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including global product, sales, account management, customer success, and client services to ensure unified sales process, seamless operations, and a cohesive customer experience.
• Champion the commercialization process from ideation to launch, ensuring that our product solutions are positioned effectively in the market. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to inform enhancements and strategies.
• Take ownership of product launch activities, including training internal teams, hosting external webinars, and monitoring post-launch performance.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive opportunities. Leverage these insights to contribute to product roadmap discussions and strategic decision-making.

All About You:
• Proven ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed organisation.
• Experience supporting commercial, go-to-market, product strategy, product commercialisation, consulting or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong relationship management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working directly with sales, account management or client-facing teams is highly desirable.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with data analysis, business intelligence or opportunity-sizing activities.
• Exposure to SQL, analytics platforms or data-driven business environments is considered an asset.
• Experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, commercial strategy or related analytical roles is strongly preferred.
• Experience within payments, fintech or technology industries is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex products and communicate their value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
