Full Job Description
What you will do:
  • Lead and execute procurement activities in alignment with approved project procurement strategies, budgets, schedules, and corporate policies.
  • Interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with all project procurement, commercial, and safety policies.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for complex, high-value, and high-risk packages, incorporating total cost of ownership principles.
  • Prepare and oversee the development of bid documents, including RFQs, RFPs, tender packages, scopes of work, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Draft, review, and approve procurement-related contractual documents, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and amendments.
  • Provide detailed reporting, analysis, and recommendations on procurement performance, risks, variances, and market conditions.
  • Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary escalation point for complex procurement and commercial matters.
  • Coordinate logistics and expediting activities for critical materials and site deliveries to support construction schedules.
  • Maintain a high level of data integrity within procurement and enterprise systems.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support to junior procurement team members as required.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, commercial, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.


What You Will Bring

Expected compensation for this role is between $80,000.00-95,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
