Full Job Description
Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change. This position supports the execution of multiple marketing programs, advertising campaigns and sales initiatives in the company's three operating states. The marketing specialist will ensure consistency with business branding and objectives and execute projects based on Eversource principles. This position requires close integration with key internal customers, business and sales management, and the other members of the marketing outreach and communications team. The specialist will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be both a team player and individual contributor. Essential Functions: • Assists in handling key marketing functions, processes, and programs related to achieving goals • Collaborates with members of the marketing team on the execution of marketing plans and campaigns. • Analyzes research and measurement of campaigns and programs, communicates results and recommends improvements and/or adjustments. • Coordinates with internal and external copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and other vendors. • Oversees, with the manager's guidance, the creation of the department's collateral, press releases, case studies, etc. • Assists in the planning and execution of events, conferences, and sponsorships • Participates in a continuous improvement team to facilitate departmental workflow processes. • Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate. • Travels approximately 10% of time Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill: • Be enthusiastic, a quick-learner and eager • Proficient/expert-level use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Self-starter with strong desire to learn • Results-driven, self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Education: • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Communications, English, Business preferred) Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience Licenses & Certifications: • None Working Conditions: • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. • Work is primarily performed in an office. • Work is primarily performed in an office environment which requires a combination of personal computer and telephone work. The annual salary range for this position is: $85,430.00-$94,920.00 Worker Type: Regular Number of Openings: 1 Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations to meet customers' needs is part of every employee's role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
