Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D) from a college of Pharmacy

 

One of the following:

  • Completion of Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1)
  • Minimum 1 of most recent 3 years9 pharmacist experience in a hospital environment

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

 

Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy within 6 months of placement into position

Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification within 1 year of placement in position

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

Working knowledge of Epic pharmacy application build and support

Board certification or specialty pharmacy experience

Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification

Epic Willow Inventory Certification

Epic Specialty Pharmacy Certification

Responsibilities

Designs, builds, implements, optimizes, and maintains information systems supporting Infirmary Health9s (IH) ambulatory pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy inventory operations. Ensures system functionality and supports safe medication use, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, revenue cycle optimization, and exceptional patient care.
