Position SummaryProvide operational support across a variety of human resource functions such as benefit administration, HRIS system, employee communications, employee orientation, contacts, department budget, employee recognition and engagement activities. Partner with the Human Resources team to support departmental goals, maintain accurate employee information, and provide high-quality service to CTA employees.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources:- Maintain and update information in ADP for employees including onboarding, terminations, life changes, promotions, leave policies, performance dashboard, etc.
- Manage HR budget; forecast departmental requirements; prepare budget, initiate corrective actions, and reduce costs were possible.
- Conduct new employee orientation and coordinate all new hire transactions. Prepare termination paperwork for employees leaving CTA, including PAFs, and other documentation. Support the Finance department as needed.
- Assist with maximizing organizational success through the management and administration of annual performance reviews, goal setting, and goals evaluation processes.
- Maintain accurate audit of employee benefit plans and processes for CTA employees including benefit enrollment, changes and compliance.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing HR staff events, employee engagement initiatives, and team-building activities, including the annual summer event and other organization-wide engagement programs, while partnering with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Maintain employee benefits information on CTA's SharePoint site to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and to provide easy access for employees.
- Submit HR contracts in corporate tool (Ironclad).
- Maintain company organizational charts.
- Work with members of the HR team in support of the vision and mission of the department.
Benefits Administration / Wellness:- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Coordinate CTA's wellness program, including development, administration and communication of fitness programs, health screenings and health fair.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries, enrollment, and issue resolution.
- Partner with VP, HR to work with vendors and brokers to evaluate and implement cost-effective and competitive benefit offerings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA).
- Assist with benefits orientations, annual open enrollment processes, and ongoing employee education sessions.
- Assist in maintaining accurate benefits-related records and prepare reports as needed.
QualificationsRequired:- 3-5 years of prior experience in a professional office environment.
- Self-starter capable of prioritizing tasks in a busy environment.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise HR programs, operational process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze HR data and operational metrics to support leadership decision-making.
- Proven ability to build scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
- Must be a team player who excels in a collaborative environment.
- Prior experience managing large budgets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Education/Trainings: - BA/BS degree in business or related field.
Additional Information- Travel to Las Vegas for CES is necessary.

Compensation & BenefitsCTA is committed to transparency and equitable pay practices. The anticipated salary range for this position is
$80,000 - $90,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for bonus or additional compensation, where applicable.
