What are your contributions to the team?

  • Analyze emerging environmental regulations that may impact product compliance in the aerospace industry, and translate regulatory developments into clear business implications and recommended actions.
  • Lead complex impact and risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing and Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, and other stakeholders, to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of environmental compliance projects and analyses related to regulations such as REACH, ECHA, EPA, ECCC, and others, ensuring timely progress, issue resolution, and visibility on risks and dependencies.
  • Develop, improve, and standardize compliance processes, tools, dashboards, and governance materials to enhance monitoring, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries, status updates, and recommendations to support internal and external governance forums and provide visibility on program performance, compliance status, and mitigation plans.
  • Engage with industry associations, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, as needed, to support interpretation of requirements, resolution of compliance issues, and alignment on regulatory expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen data quality, reporting rigor, and cross-functional ways of working within the Environmental Compliance Office.


How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least eight (8) years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, program management, or a related field, preferably in a complex industrial or aerospace environment.
  • You are highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills and sound judgment, and you are able to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are fully bilingual in English and French.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with data visualization or reporting tools is an asset.
  • PMP or a similar project management certification is an asset.
