Specialist Account Manager Connected Community
This role builds productive relationships with property managers, executes property-level marketing strategies, and coordinates with internal teams to increase Fiber and wireless sales. The position requires frequent in-person property visits, local events, and hands-on support for new construction and Fiber-overbuild opportunities.
Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesProperty Relationship Management
- Manage relationships and contractual marketing commitments with assigned Connected Community properties.
- Build strong relationships with property managers through regular, in-person engagement.
- Educate and motivate property management teams to promote available products and services to residents.
- Develop property-specific marketing plans, referral opportunities, and resident engagement strategies.
- Maintain the required level of property activity, currently a minimum of 100 in-person visits per month, in accordance with applicable incentive compensation requirements.
Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve assigned Fiber, wireless, and strategic consumer product sales objectives.
- Generate demand through hyper-local offers, property management referrals, resident communications, and on-site events.
- Identify sales opportunities based on property needs, resident demographics, service availability, and local market conditions.
- Track property performance and adjust sales and marketing activities to improve results.
Event Planning and Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site events designed to generate awareness, leads, and sales.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with property managers to select effective event formats, schedules, and communication channels.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with teams supporting property contracts, technical operations, network readiness, door-to-door sales, retail, and in-home expert channels.
- Coordinate the resolution of property or resident issues that may affect the customer experience or sales performance.
- Communicate property-level opportunities, service concerns, and execution needs to the appropriate internal teams.
- Support consistent execution across all participating sales channels.
Property Onboarding
- Onboard assigned new-construction and Fiber-overbuild properties after they are released by the property readiness team.
- Coordinate initial property engagement, marketing activation, event planning, and sales-channel support.
- Help ensure property managers have the information and resources needed to communicate service availability to residents.
Job Contribution
- Mid-level individual contributor with an intermediate understanding of sales principles, practices, products, and services.
- Manages a small to moderately sized territory or sales quota with ongoing supervision.
- Uses established company policies, processes, and sound judgment to address customer issues and identify sales opportunities.
- Balances relationship management, field execution, event planning, and sales accountability.
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience desired.
- Two or more years of related sales, account management, property management, telecommunications, or field marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and achieve sales goals.
- Experience planning events, managing budgets, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a field-based schedule and conduct frequent in-person property visits.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional sales, technical, operational, and support teams.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $69,300 - $103,900 USD, plus a $30,000 target commission opportunity. Individual starting salary within the range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education or training.
