Full Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Special Security Representative (SSR), for a challenging and exciting opportunity to support Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Task Force Detachment leaders as part of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Integration Support Contract (ISC).

The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. The new weapon system includes replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead.

This position will directly support the AFGSC Task Force Detachment Commander/Director and associated personnel. Duties will include: directing and oversight of security operations to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manuals 5205 series to include JSIG, DoD manuals, AFI's, along with all other applicable federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles. Support program/project managers, and weapon system subject matter experts as they provide professional advice and support to AFGSC on all ICBM deployment, security, and command & control aspects throughout all the deployment phases.

Additional responsibilities include:

Provide management support for classified, sensitive compartmented information (SCI), and special access programs (SAP).
Understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
Physical security systems (e.g., motion sensors, visual sensors, delay features, etc.)
Investigate and document security violations, infractions, or suspected compromises, and coordinate with appropriate authorities
Conduct initial and annual security briefings, foreign travel debriefings, and continuous training for staff
Process security clearance paperwork, manage access roster, and verifying clearances for personnel entering controlled areas

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to understand, interpret, explain, and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
Demonstrated high level knowledge of SAP and SCI security requirements
Must exhibit in-depth level of knowledge of DOD manuals, instructions, regulations, guidelines, and ICDs pertaining to national security programs.
Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Ability to identify, establish and cultivate important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders internal and external to the USAF, including AFGSC, AFMC, AFNWC, 20 AF internally, and Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, and contractor personnel externally

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
Physical Security SCIF Construction-ICD 705 certificate
Familiarity with, or willingness to rapidly learn, complex schedule management principles is a plus
Air Force Security Manager Certificate
PMP certification and understanding of agile program management tools
5+ years of experience with the USAF ICBM mission
5+ years of experience with technical project management

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97157 - $165167

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
