Position Overview - Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with moderate to severe disabilities in a special education setting.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans and IEP goals while monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction to meet diverse needs.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation, independence, communication, and growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related-service providers, families, and school staff to support student success and ensure consistent implementation of services.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with appropriate transcripts; California Certificate of Clearance (COC)
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Moderate/Severe Disabilities authorization and English Learner Authorization
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and implementing individualized instruction and IEP goals; familiarity with California assessment requirements such as CSET/CBEST preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
