Position Overview - Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in resource or self-contained classrooms.
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and manage caseloads.
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student success.
- Create an inclusive, structured classroom that promotes positive behavior, engagement, and academic growth.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Special Education Certification for the appropriate grade level(s) (Elementary K-5 or Secondary 6-12)
- Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification corresponding to the assigned grade levels
- Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
- Experience with K-12 math instruction or supporting students with behavioral needs preferred
