Position Overview: - Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained classroom serving up to 15 students, supported by two paraprofessionals, using individualized teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement instructional plans that promote students' academic, social, and behavioral growth in a structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, educators, and families to support student progress and foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
- Monitor student performance, maintain required documentation, and adapt instruction to meet individual educational goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a self-contained or elementary special education setting preferred
