Job Title:Special Education Teacher
Pay Range:$50-65/hour
Job Description:Up to $65+/hour | Aurora, CO | Full-Time & Part-Time Openings | Position Details:- Multiple openings at the elementary level (Self-Contained or Resource available)
- Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
- Starting August 2026 for the entire school year
What You'll Do- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
- Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
- Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
What We're Looking For- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Fingerprinting as required for the position
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
