  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
  • Starting August 2026 for the entire school year

About the Role

Hello Resource Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students in Boulder, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction, develop and manage IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning
  • Deliver research-based interventions based on individual student needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports
  • Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
  • Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions
  • Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment

What We're Looking For
