Full Job Description
The Strategic Initiatives Consultant, Campaign Projects is a high-level, external-facing leadership role designed to help accelerate the quiet phase of Seattle Children's comprehensive campaign. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this position focuses on partnering with the Foundation team to build strategic partnerships and support high-capacity fundraising activities in the critical launch phase of the new comprehensive campaign.

The Strategic Initiatives Consultant works as an embedded member of the Foundation team and participates in and supports fundraising lifecycle functions: Prospect Identification, Fundraising Strategy & Planning, Donor Engagement & Cultivation, Proposal & Solicitation Development, and Gift Negotiation & Closing.

The primary objective of the position is to help the Foundation mobilize philanthropic momentum to ensure the successful advancement of Seattle Children's $1 billion fundraising efforts for the new Renton Campus.

Core Strategic Priorities:

  • Strategic Campaign Counsel: Partner with the CDO to refine the external case for support, bringing commercial rigor and swift pacing to donor engagement strategies for the Renton campus.
  • Transformational Fundraising: Partner with the Foundation team to advance relationships with high-capacity corporate and individual donors, focusing on cultivating and securing principal-level gifts for the Renton expansion.
  • Support for Anna's Circle: Support the launch and scaling of this signature women's philanthropic platform, positioning it as a primary engine for campaign growth and regional influence.
  • Communication & Engagement Counsel: Provide high-level counsel to ensure campaign priorities are seamlessly translated into compelling, fundable narratives for Pacific Northwest tech leaders and global philanthropists.

Compensation Range
$255,872.00 - $383,808.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
