Full Job Description
a.i. solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the Commercial Space Domain Awareness (SDA) team. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate the creation and aggregation of real and simulated satellite data for U.S. Space Force (USSF) training events and exercises. The coordinator will work closely with trainers and exercise designers to ensure their data requirements are met and support mission readiness across USSF units. The ideal candidate will embrace the a.i. solutions mission, demonstrate strong self-motivation and attention to detail, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with USSF trainers and exercise designers to match live and simulated satellite data to their training needs
  • Operate an aggregation and distribution system for live satellite data
  • Coordinate with satellite owners/operators for new sources of live satellite data
  • Engage with satellite owners/operators to customize their ops plans to assist with training objectives
  • Extract technical information about live satellite operations from planning documents
  • Generate simulated SDA data in response to requests from trainers and exercise designers
  • Continually improve your knowledge to grow our value to the customer


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BE in in engineering, physics, or other STEM related field (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years of experience in satellite flight dynamics, satellite operations, space situational awareness (SSA), or space domain awareness (SDA)
  • Prior participation in military SSA/SDA trainings and exercises
  • Ability to coordinate and execute multiple ongoing tasks while staying organized
  • Ability to read, understand, and write technical documents
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
  • U.S. citizenship


Desired Background:

  • Served in the military or worked closely with military units
  • Experience designing or coordinating military training and exercises
  • Experience with FreeFlyer, or other astrodynamics tools
  • Prior experience with SDA modeling and simulation
  • Software development experience
  • A U.S. Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to get one
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively within both a team environment and independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable attention to detail
