Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Sourcing Manager is a strategic procurement leader responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive value across multiple product lines and facilities. With a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), this role identifies opportunities to optimize cost, improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and support broader business objectives.

Working with a high degree of autonomy, the Sourcing Manager will lead supplier selection and negotiations, supplier consolidation, contract and service-level management, and strategic sourcing initiatives within assigned categories. This position will build strong supplier partnerships, resolve complex issues, and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure sourcing decisions balance cost, quality, service, reliability, and long-term business value.

The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and the ability to translate organizational goals into sourcing strategies that deliver measurable results.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Improve the total value procured from the Indirect supply base by leading standardization and consolidation solutions across various entities in North America (US & Canada.
  • With assistance of cross divisional, cross functional team, develop and implement metrics, which objectively demonstrate success for each cost center and P&L affected and scorecard suppliers' performance.
  • Develop and execute supplier negotiation plans.
  • Plan and negotiate short and long-term contracts with favorable impact on inventory goals, quality, continuity of supply, and corporate cost objectives.
  • Developing and achieving short and long-range operational objectives by maximizing cost savings while keeping in mind Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Take ownership of key spend areas specific to Professional Services categories, implementing controls and procedures to support, and driving a cost-conscious culture.
  • Partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze trends and market conditions for the present and future pricing, availability and capacity of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and make recommendations for future investments while identifying possible savings opportunities.
  • Understand the need for change management with an eye to the process of change rather than change all at once.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Select and maintain suppliers to support manufacturing and/or corporate Procurement requirements.
  • Develop formal Category Strategies to align short-, medium-, and long-term goals with the needs of the business.
  • Maintain appropriate vendor files and reports as required.
  • Address Accounts Payable issues when escalated.
  • Perform Supplier Risk Assessments to ensure new potential suppliers are, and existing suppliers remain viable partners.
  • Create total cost and "should" cost models and lead make/buy analysis.
  • Timely communication of pricing trends and market updates affecting services and supply.
  • Accurate and timely procurement in compliance with contractual service level metrics.
  • Review pricing and service charge exceptions.
  • Perform contract management and compliance activities.
  • Oversee monthly reporting for various corporate service categories.
  • Execute Supplier relationship Management requirements.
  • Perform RFx diligence with a strategic approach.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, or Finance.
  • 5+ years proven experience in Indirect Purchasing.
  • Experience in developing strategies to effectively lead and consolidate fragmented spend categories required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Souring Experience.
  • Must be familiar with negotiations and constructing formal supply contracts.
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams in both corporate and plant environments.
  • At a minimum, intermediate MS Excel skills are required.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • SaaS Agreement experience.
  • Working knowledge of P2P Systems (Jaggaer specifically a plus).
  • Demonstrated abilities to implement process change improvements and best practices.
  • CPM or CPSM certification a plus.
