We9re hiring a Sourcing Category Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in

Primary Responsibilities- Direct and oversee the sourcing and procurement processes for the Construction/Building Products/Consumables across EquipmentShare
- Negotiate the best pricing and value for products and services in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner
- Oversee and manage the creation of new and renewed vendor relationships and contracts
- Review product quality and effectiveness for EquipmentShare9s needs
- Guide, mentor & develop team members and vendors to meet business goals and targets
- Evaluate product vendors and study market trends to identify the best vendor options and predict product availability
- Assist in the development of standards, processes and best practices for the Procurement department
- Communicate clearly and collaborate across team9s organization-wide to achieve goals and establish transparent procurement processes
- Review current category services and products to identify areas of price reductions, efficient purchasing, improvements, etc.
- Build solid vendor relationships for common services across the category
- Collaborate and work with the organization9s management during vendor evaluation and selection, as well as purchase contract negotiations and service level agreements
- Mine data to drive in depth analysis of category usage and spend.

Skills & Qualifications- A bachelor9s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Must have at least 8 years of Construction & Building Products category management experience
- Professional certifications preferred e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., or evidence of continued professional growth Targeted Competencies
- Strong project management, communication and leadership skills
- Solid working knowledge of the complete procurement cycle with a hands-on work style
