Mobile Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular & Echo)

We are seeking a skilled and licensed dual modality Mobile Ultrasound Technician (vascular and echocardiograms) to join our team. This role involves traveling within a designated geographic area to perform echo and vascular ultrasound scans for patients residing in healthcare facilities and medical doctors' offices/clinics. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure, certifications, and expertise to conduct examinations independently and with precision. Minimum 3 years, preferably 5+, and registered echo or vascular (RVT or RDCS). This position requires professionalism, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Mobile imaging position scanning in doctors' offices in DFW and covering nursing home facilities when not assigned to offices
  • Company vehicle and gas car provided + paid training in the field

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care and Ultrasound Examinations
  1. Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and answer any questions they may have.
  2. Perform general and vascular ultrasound scans to assess and identify areas of concern.
  3. Notify appropriate medical staff immediately of any abnormalities requiring urgent attention.

Equipment Maintenance and Reporting
  1. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or issues.
  3. Upload completed studies into the online PACS system and accurately mark records as complete.

Documentation and Communication
  1. Prepare clear and concise technical impression reports summarizing findings.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all examination results.

Work Environment and Collaboration
  1. Manage multiple patients efficiently while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  2. Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of scanning experience (5 years+ preferred).
  • ARDMS RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) and the RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification
  • Ability to perform a variety of echo and vascular examinations.
  • Experience with scanning venous reflux (is a plus ,but not required)
  • Comfortable writing a technical impression of each finding.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing patient services.
  • Comfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations up to 200+ miles per day.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs.
