Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations

  • Float to different facilities as required
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound scans including Abdomen and Vascular
  • Ensure compliance with departmental protocols and safety standards

Certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent is required.
- ARDMS certified in breast ultrasound and physics (BR) within 9 months or certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in Breast Sonography (BS) required within 12 months of hire.

Must-Have: Graduation from a Medical Sonography Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).

Description:
Performs high quality diagnostic sonographic examinations.
Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provides guidance and instruction for students, residents, and other technologists as needed.
Floating may be required to different facilities.
Department-related sonography experience is preferred.
