Job Description:AHMG Cardiology at Winter Garden
2000 Fowler Grove Blvd, Winter Garden, FL 34787
Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm
may float to Clermont and Minneola practices as needed
$5k sign on bonus
- Obtains a complete and current history of the patient and the reason for the exam.
- Performs quality echocardiogram and vascular studies for adequate diagnostic evaluation by the reading physicians.
- Obtains all views required for processing. Inputs notes and history at the completion of the exam.
- Inputs data at the completion of the exam. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarify with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.
- Notifies the floor if the patient has had an echocardiogram within the past six months. Utilizes all safety measures provided for the department and individual technologists.
- Always uses two types of patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth.
- Assures proper positioning, technique, and protocol for each exam. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Education: - High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Field of Study: - Graduate of a JCERT approved Cardiovascular program/ARDMS/RCIS registered/registry eligible
