Full Job Description
The Solutions Consultant, Verified Voices, will be responsible for supporting the pre-sales cycle through articulating and demonstrating how Numerator surveys and panel provide visibility, insights, efficiencies, and financial value for the CPG industry, General Merchandise, Restaurants, and Retailers.

This includes leading consultative discovery conversations to understand clients' business objectives and research requirements, translating those needs into customized quantitative research solutions, determining the optimal approach to meet and exceed client objectives, proposing alternative solutions when requirements cannot be fully met, handling objections, demonstrating relevant real-world use cases and advanced platform capabilities, and clearly articulating the expected business value of partnering with Numerator.

The Solutions Consultant will leverage deep expertise in quantitative research methodologies and industry experience to solve complex business challenges while building credibility and trust with prospective customers. Working closely with Sales Directors and cross-functional partners, this individual will develop tailored research proposals, conduct Verified Voices platform demonstrations and help drive the successful conversion of prospects to customers. The Solutions Consultant will also engage with existing customers to expand relationships while maintaining a current perspective on industry trends, evolving client needs, and emerging research solutions.

How You'll Spend Your Time:
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand prospective clients' business objectives, research needs, and decision-making challenges.
  • Lead tailored client capability conversations and deliver Verified Voices platform demonstrations that showcase Numerator's competitive differentiation and align solutions to each client's business objectives.
  • Design customized quantitative research methodologies and survey approaches that translate complex business questions into actionable research solutions while balancing business objectives, research rigor, feasibility, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop and present tailored research proposals that clearly communicate the recommended methodology, expected business value, and value of partnering with Numerator.
  • Execute feasibility assessments for retailer, brand, category, and audience coverage.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, Sales Directors, Solutions Consultants and other cross-functional partners throughout the sales cycle.
  • Work with strategic customers and Numerator leadership to identify and prioritize new solutions and enhanced capabilities within the survey business.
  • Share client feedback, product insights, and industry trends with Product Management.
  • Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities.
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Master's degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of quantitative survey research experience, including experience designing custom research methodologies and scoping research engagements in a client-facing, consulting, or business development environment with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep expertise in quantitative research methodology, with the ability to translate complex business questions into rigorous, actionable research designs.
  • Experience leading consultative client discussions and developing compelling research proposals and recommendations.
  • Experience presenting to clients, including leading capability conversations and delivering solution or platform demonstrations.
  • An understanding of syndicated and household panel data (NielsenIQ, Circana)
  • Experience supporting CPG manufacturers, retailers, or other consumer-facing industries. Experience supporting general merchandisers and restaurant clients is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Able to develop strong internal and client relationships.
