Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a versatile Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable technology solutions for federal clients. This role requires broad expertise across custom application development, cloud native architecture, modern data engineering platforms such as Databricks, enterprise platforms such as Palantir, and emerging AI capabilities. You will translate complex business needs into secure, maintainable architectures while mentoring delivery teams and ensuring best practice implementation.
This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Lead architecture and solution design across custom developed applications, cloud native systems, and advanced data/AI platforms.
Partner with federal clients to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into end to end solution architectures.
Architect solutions leveraging modern software engineering practices, APIs, Azure services, Databricks, Palantir, and AI/ML capabilities where appropriate.
Guide development teams oesigning scalable applications, data pipelines, integration patterns, and AI enabled components.
Establish and enforce best practices in architecture, security, data governance, performance, and application lifecycle management.
Mentor junior architects and developers in modern application development, data engineering, and AI practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 6+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture.
Strong background in software development, cloud application design, and modern engineering frameworks.
Familiarity with Databricks, large scale data architectures, or similar analytics platforms.
Experience with AI/ML integration or leveraging AI technologies within enterprise solutions.
Experience designing or integrating with platforms such as Palantir is a plus.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, APIs, microservices, and cloud native patterns.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with federal stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $218,200.00.
