This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team in the Northern Virginia area.  This is a hire for a full-time client facing position supporting a government agency.  Candidate must have current TS/SCI with poly.  The role will assist the government client in the creation of technological solutions that will drive and sustain organizational performance. Candidate must have the ability to translate vision into realistic technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in eliciting and capturing requirements, and the need to modify existing services or create new ones

• Document and track stakeholder prioritization of needs and requirements

• Translate requirements into architecture solutions; work with enterprise architects and system engineers to define potential solutions and identify barriers

• Utilize technical expertise to contribute to and review client’s strategic plan

• Participate in intelligence community forums and working groups

Required Qualifications:

• Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience within IC or DoD of gathering requirement and translating requirements into design documents

• Experience with application architecture analysis, design, and delivery

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, System Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Desired:

• Certifications in AI/ML technologies or Cloud such AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect

• Experience implementing cloud-based workloads on AWS, Microsoft or Azure

Basic Compensation:

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
