About this JobWe're looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Solutions team and own integrations between partner CU/DU stacks and Eridan's RU. You'll be the technical face of Eridan to our integration partners: explaining requirements, configuring and debugging systems, and validating that end-to-end performance is optimal - from the CU all the way down to the radio. This is not a coding role; it's a systems role for someone who understands how every part of a disaggregated RAN works well enough to make them all talk to each other.
You'll split your time roughly 85% in our lab and 15% in the field, with the opportunity to travel to partner and customer sites, including internationally.
What You'll Do- Manage partner integration projects autonomously, end to end - from first technical exchange to confirming the integration is complete and optimal.
- Communicate directly with partner engineers: explain technical requirements, drive debugging, and keep projects moving.
- Validate end-to-end system and network performance (core 12 CU 12 DU 12 RU 12 UE) against RF and network parameters, in the lab and in the field.
- Validate new RU software releases against integrated end-to-end systems.
- Integrate new features into end-to-end systems: new software versions, new devices on the network, and new radio variants (e.g., 4T4R, 100 MHz).
- Work with different debugging tools, from Keysight RF testing tools to Viavi emulators and Wireshark.
- Debug across Linux systems, network switching and fronthaul, and RAN configuration layers.
- Conduct integration validation and field testing - controlled, repeatable measurement campaigns.
What You Bring- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in telecommunication, network, or systems engineering (we'll consider 3+ years with strong RAN experience).
- Fluency in Linux and the command line: navigating systems, editing configuration files, reading logs.
- Solid understanding of RAN architecture - specifically Open RAN and disaggregated CU/DU/RU systems.
- Solid debugging skills in all different RAN layers (L1, L2, L3).
- Networking fundamentals: VLAN tagging, interface debugging, routing.
- Working knowledge of 5G NR concepts: PRBs, channel bandwidth, TDD patterns, and how they affect system behavior.
- Excellent written communication and the ability to run a project with external partners.
- A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset - lab work, moving equipment, and outdoor field testing are part of the job.
Nice to Have- O-RAN 7.2a fronthaul split / lower-layer split interface experience; physical-layer familiarity.
- RF background.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
- Experience with test tools such as Wireshark, QualiPoc, Keysight, XCAL/XCAP, QXDM, etc.
- Python scripting.
- MS in Telecommunications.
- Ability to travel internationally (Europe and Asia).
Perks of working at Eridan- Work on new technology that will make a significant impact on global infrastructure
- Ability to learn, develop, and advance within a flexible environment
- Collaborate with smart, passionate, and helpful co-workers
- Celebrate progress company-wide
- Pre-IPO equity
- 401K with automatic match
- Health, Vision and Dental insurance
