Dematic Corp. is looking for a Solution Development Engineering Manager to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.  The SD Eng Mgr position is integral to the success of Solution Development team responsible for leading a team that generates creative concepts, minizines risk, and delivers a firm price proposals. This role is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our concepts are executable, risk is identified, and standard process are being followed. 

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $121,000 - $177,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

  • Lead a dynamic team of up to 20 employees, driving creative solutions and flawless execution

  • Assign and strategically plan resources for Solution Requests, ensuring efficient utilization

  • Monitor and balance the workload of your team, encouraging an environment of productivity and efficiency

  • Participate in customer meetings, providing expert insights and building strong client relationships

  • Support the execution of the annual business plan, contributing to the long-term success of the company

  • Achieve quarterly goals and key results for your group, maintaining a tight reporting cadence for project performance

  • Implement agile methods and LEAN problem-solving techniques to improve project, team, and process performance

  • Continually mentor your team through group and one-on-one sessions, encouraging growth and development

  • Drive iterative value creation methods, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; a MBA is preferred

  • PMP is helpful.

  • 5+  years experience leading high performing teams.

  • 3+ years industry experience preferred.
