Full Job Description
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Solution Architect-Digital Power that supports the New England and Upstate NY area. Preference for residency in Boston or Andover MA. Candidates can also reside in Buffalo NY, Syracuse NY, Rhode Island, Connecticut or the New England area.

The Digital Power organization is looking for a Solution Architect to drive the technical design and specification of sophisticated power monitoring and control solutions.

What Do You Do Every Day?
  • Develop solutions comprised of IoT hardware, software, and services used to monitor and control a customer's electrical distribution network.
  • Consult with customers, specifiers, and contractors to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
  • Work with a team of business development specialists, quotations specialists, engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional professionals to deliver outside the box solutions.
  • Become a trusted advisor with clients in several market segments to influence and guide the design of their electrical distribution system.
  • Proposal and design documentation development including system overview, scope of work, bill of material, and project pricing.
  • Have freedom and flexibility to drive sales and create solutions necessary for your market to succeed.

Who are we looking for? - This job might be for you if:
  • Passion for driving cutting-edge solutions and thinking outside the box to solve customer problems
  • Experience with End Customer solution selling and/or delivery of complex projects in the electrical industry.
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred but not necessary: electrical distribution and/or automation equipment such as switchgear, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and SCADA systems.
  • Developed interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers of various technical abilities to develop solutions actively and creatively.
  • Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and learn new skills quickly.
  • Travel up to 50% to various customer sites. You will control your travel based on the needs of your customers and business.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
