Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for Electromagnetic analysis, Coil design and Engineering calculations.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Prepare engineering documentation including participation in design reviews
- Conduct product and system level testing in an engineering laboratory while following safety practices and guidelines
- Support production launch activities for solenoid based products
- Contribute to cost reduction projects for existing series products
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to meet and optimize product design requirements.
- Communicate results clearly and coordinate with team members
- Support and drive organizational initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in magnetics design
- Proficiency in finite element and magnetic analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell)
- Strong understanding of solenoid design, including pull force calculations, permanent magnet applications, sensors, and circuit simulations
- Working knowledge of various magnetic materials and their properties
- Experience in designing solenoid driver circuits
- Basic understanding of power management and control schemes
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach. Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
- Demonstrated experience building and assembling prototype solenoids for testing and validation
- Strong written, verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics with
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Solenoid Valve experience with a strong understanding of reliability factors related to solenoids and coil design
- Knowledge of solenoid manufacturing and automation processes
- Experience of working in a global matrix engineering environment
- Expertise in electromagnetic-mechanical systems, including electric motors and electric/magnetic damping technologies
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
