Enterprise Web Platforms to join our dynamic engineering team. This role will contribute to building and enhancing scalable, accessible, and user-focused interfaces for our enterprise-grade systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, high-performing, and inclusive web applications.
Responsibilities- Design and implement responsive, scalable, and reusable React.js components for enterprise web platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, backend engineers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize front-end code for performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Uphold best practices for coding standards and version control, including writing unit tests and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Support accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) to ensure all users, including those with disabilities, can effectively interact with our applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues across different devices and browsers.
- Work with Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and tools in front-end development and proactively incorporate these into the team's practices.
QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience- 2-4 years of professional experience in front-end or UI development with a focus on React.js.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end libraries.
- Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data-fetching patterns.
- Experience building enterprise-level web platforms at scale.
- Familiarity with state management tools like Redux or Context API.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design best practices.
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility and responsive design techniques.
- Understanding and implementation of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience- Experience with TypeScript in React projects.
- Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Day-to-Day- Begin the day participating in standups with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into scalable and reusable React components.
- Develop features, including coding, unit testing, and verifying individual components.
- Troubleshoot and solve issues reported by QA or stakeholders.
- Regularly review and update documentation to keep projects and teammates aligned.
- Communicate project ideas, improvements, and blockers with the team and managers.
- Spend time learning and experimenting with new tools, libraries, or frameworks to stay ahead on trends.
