deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
Position Description:The Automated Software Test Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency's GMD Weapon System program by developing, maintaining, and executing automated test capabilities used to verify mission-critical software functionality.
Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university
Experience Requirements:- 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 years of experience with a PhD
- Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
- Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
- Experience in C++ development
- Experience using Python and other scripting languages
- Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset
- Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
Special Skills Desired:- Security+ certification
- GMD/MDA Experience
- Java experience/understanding
- Experience using Cameo
- Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
