Job Summary

The Software Solution Architect II will lead overall solution governance for the CXI Discovery program by defining the target architecture vision, integration strategy, future-state roadmap, and architectural direction across discovery workstreams. The role will provide strategic and executive-level recommendations, identify technology modernization opportunities, assess architecture risks and dependencies, and guide architectural decision-making to ensure enterprise solutions are consistent, scalable, secure, and maintainable. Mandatory healthcare industry experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and govern the target-state architecture across CXI Platform, Claims, G&A, and Agentic AI/Analytics workstreams.
• Lead architecture review sessions to align current-state assessments, integration requirements, and future-state recommendations.
• Establish cross-track integration patterns, API strategies, and data flow frameworks.
• Develop modernization roadmap inputs and technology transformation recommendations.
• Identify architecture risks, dependencies, constraints, and governance decisions requiring stakeholder alignment.
• Translate discovery insights into practical solution options and executive-ready architecture recommendations.
• Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, security, and maintainability across enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
• Conduct application assessments, technical discovery, and solution validation exercises.
• Provide technical leadership across solution architecture, integration strategy, cloud and application architecture, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop and support target-state architecture blueprints, enterprise integration strategies, architecture principles, governance frameworks, and modernization roadmaps.
• Evaluate discovery solutions and provide recommendations based on technical feasibility, architecture standards, risks, dependencies, and business objectives.

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Mandatory experience in the healthcare industry.
• Exposure to healthcare payer operations, claims systems, member experience platforms, G&A functions, audit, compliance, or regulatory workflows.
• Strong experience with enterprise applications, integration architecture, API design and governance, cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Python, React, and Spring Boot.
• Experience conducting application assessments, technical discovery, and solution validation exercises.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership capabilities.
• Experience with cloud architecture across Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong understanding of API and integration strategies, microservices architecture, and distributed systems design.
• Ability to assess technology risks and dependencies and communicate recommendations effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI/ML solution architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise analytics and intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience driving application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience providing executive-level architecture advisory and recommendations.
• Experience with data architecture and analytics platforms.
• TOGAF Certification.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
• Equivalent enterprise architecture certifications.
