You Are:We are seeking a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end solution architectures, governing technical quality, and acting as a trusted technology advisor across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Own and drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications.
- Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition, integration patterns, and data flows.
- Lead architecture decisions (build/buy/reuse) and clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
- Act as a technology advisor to business and technical stakeholders, translating business objectives into pragmatic solutions.
- Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance, including security, scalability, performance, resilience, and operability.
- Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure solutions are implementable and production-ready.
- Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies and architectural risks.
- Mentor senior engineers and junior architects; promote consistency, best practices, and engineering excellence.
This is a hybrid role and will require at least three days per week in the office. Hiring location is Dallas, Texas. Here's what you need:- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with significant architecture ownership including experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- A minimum of 3 years designing enterprise-scale software or platform solutions as a Technical Architect including strong understanding of modern architecture patterns (micro-frontend frameworks, microservices, event-driven, API-first, domain-driven design).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if:- Experience building or leading platform-grade capabilities (API platforms, integrations layers, workflow/automation platforms, shared services).
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, managed cloud services, and container (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Expertise in API and integration patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL, API gateways, OAuth2/JWT).
- Experience with DevOps and platform engineering practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments).
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, observability, monitoring, and operational readiness.
- Understanding of Generative & Agentic AI concepts, including LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and responsible AI considerations.
- Experience or exposure to GenAI tools and platforms (e.g., enterprise copilots, LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG-based architectures).
- Architecture or cloud certifications are a plus
