Overview

Tyndale is adding a strategic, hands-on leader to take ownership of our growing portfolio of SaaS applications. In this role, you'll define and drive governance, strategy, and lifecycle management across our platforms-ensuring they are secure, cost-effective, and aligned with both business goals and enterprise architecture.

As a key connector between cross functional teams, IT, and Security, you'll establish standards for SaaS adoption, administration, and integration while enabling scalable growth across our eCommerce, ERP, and operational systems. This position has a strong focus on improving SaaS visibility, managing risk, strengthening identity integration (SSO), and building a foundation for long-term operational scalability.

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 1 day per week, and 4 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or our location in Houston, TX (City Centre).

Responsibilities

  • Own and define Tyndale's SaaS governance framework, including policies, standards, and lifecycle management processes (intake, approval, implementation, administration, renewal, and retirement).
  • Establish and maintain a centralized inventory of all SaaS applications, including ownership, business purpose, data classification, integrations, and risk profile.
  • Lead the intake and evaluation process for new SaaS requests, assessing security, data protection, compliance, implementation complexity, and operational support requirements.
  • Partner with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure SaaS applications meet enterprise standards for data protection, access control, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with IT to implement and expand Single Sign-On (SSO) across existing and new SaaS platforms, ensuring alignment with identity management strategies.
  • Define and enforce best practices for SaaS administration, including no shared accounts, role-based access control, and proper user provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of SaaS applications to ensure proper administration, accurate license utilization, and alignment with governance standards.
  • Identify and remediate risks related to shadow IT, redundant applications, and unmanaged SaaS usage across the organization.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor SaaS spend, optimize licensing, support vendor negotiations, and reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure clear ownership and accountability for each SaaS platform (business owner and technical owner).
  • Develop reporting and dashboards on SaaS usage, cost, compliance, and risk metrics for executive visibility.
  • Continue evolving the SaaS operating model as the environment matures and governance needs expand over time.
  • Create documentation, playbooks, and training materials to educate business users on SaaS governance processes and best practices.
  • Support internal and external audit activities related to SaaS systems, data handling, and access controls.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, balancing speed and innovation with governance, security, and scalability.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in leading IT governance, enterprise applications, SaaS management, or related roles. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science required; equivalent experience demonstrating comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities in the relevant functional area may be considered in lieu of a directly related degree
  • Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, including application lifecycle management, vendor management, and licensing models.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management concepts, including SSO, MFA, and role-based access controls.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, data privacy standards, risk assessments).
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams to implement governance and process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple systems and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to drive clarity and accountability across diverse stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience with SaaS management platforms (e.g., Zylo, Torii) or CASB solutions.
  • Preferred: Experience in eCommerce, retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting financial oversight of IT spending, vendor negotiations, or contract management.

Work Environment:

Hybrid - 1 day onsite (Pipersville, PA or Houston, TX) / 4 days remote. To be considered, candidates must reside within commuting distance of our corporate headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County), or Houston, TX offices (Greenspoint/City Centre). This role works in a hybrid office/home environment and is performed primarily in a professional office setting using standard office technology. The position involves regular collaboration through virtual and in-person meetings and may require occasional travel to company locations.

Physical Demands:
