Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role leading teams.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing systems or infrastructure designing and maintaining large scale streaming data pipelines.
  • Experience developing and executing long-term technical strategies.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a structured organization.
  • Experience with Flume.
  • Experience with SQL pipelines.

Evenflow's output data is fundamental for mission-critical, revenue-related functions across numerous Ads products directly powering budgeting, billing, bidding algorithms, and customer-facing reporting, while also ensuring data accuracy for financial reporting and compliance.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering their career growth and maintaining a healthy team culture.
  • Develop and advocate the long-term technical goals and road map for key areas of Ads Evenflow.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a set of stakeholders, including client teams, partner infrastructure teams, and Ads leadership. Manage expectations, communicate progress, and navigate competing requirements from various Ads product and infrastructure teams.
  • Partner closely with tech leads to guide project execution, unblock technical issues, and ensure engineering excellence.
  • Instill and uphold high standards for engineering and operational excellence, including system design, code quality, testing, and production reliability.
