Position: Software Engineering Manager

Position Description:
Software Engineering Manager, FactSet Research Systems Inc. Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Search and Look Up department. Duties include: Review product requirement documents; problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under direct management; implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams; sets goals and mentors development of ongoing projects; provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation; reviews code changes and submissions; presents technical & operational issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team members; helps to coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team. Remote Position: This position may be performed remotely in the United States. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years of software engineering industry experience working with: C#, .NET Framework, Python, SQL (MS SQL Server), Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch 2, 6, and 9, AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, Aurora & RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose), ETL Pipelines, Linux, Windows, SSH (PuTTY, WSL), Kibana, Grafana, Must have full software development life cycle experience.
Salary Offered: $135,000 to $165,000
