For our headquarters in Atlanta, we are looking for a
Software Engineer starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities- Develop real-time AI/ML processing systems for edge sensor signal processing, such as drone detection and automated target recognition
- Integrate Walaris software and technology into military and commercial security systems to add autonomous capabilities and boost overall system performance
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment
- Own the software solutions that are deployed to customers
- Write code to improve products and scale the mission capability to a greater number of customers
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements from R&D, sales, and product management are fully integrated and effectively addressed throughout the development process
RequirementsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience as a software engineer specializing in real-time, high-throughput data processing, ideally within AI-driven applications
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development, preferably in Python or C++
- Background in Linux-based development
- Proficiency in developing unit tests to ensure code quality
- Experience working with Docker or other containerization framework
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab pipelines or Jenkins
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, Flask, GStreamer, and Deepstream
- Experience with edge processing
- Exposure to NVIDIA Jetson devices
- Experience with NumPy
Export Control Requirements- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
