BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)Active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.

Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with the Agile software development process.
Prior experience with automated testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems.
Security+ certification (or similar) is required within 60 days of starting. Highly preferred at start.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESClient is seeking motivated and talented C2BMC Systems Software Test/DevSecOps Engineers to join the team in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
The Client Missile Defense Programs support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight. Knowledge and experience in automated testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development.
A strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers.
Participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure.
Develop and execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing).
Basics DevSecOps experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)Experience in a DevSecOps environment extremely desirable.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, or computer science. 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 5+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Master's or 3+ years of work-related engineering experience with a PhD.
WORK HOURSFull-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 4:30 PMADDITIONALTravel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically.
Possible OT.
