Opportunity Overview

As a Software Engineer on Teradyne's AI team, you will help unlock the power of agentic workflows using Teradyne's automated test software tools. This role focuses on designing a durable, well-architected software enablement layer that allows engineering teams to build consistent, reusable, and scalable solutions. You will partner closely with AI/ML engineers and global cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade software that advances Teradyne's innovation strategy.

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the core software platform and libraries that enable agentic workflows with Teradyne's tool suite.

  • Develop clean, well-documented interfaces, APIs, and software development kits that expose Teradyne's tools in a consistent, reusable way.

  • Ensure strong software engineering practices, including sound architecture, clean code, automated testing, code reviews, and clear documentation.

  • Partner with AI/ML engineers to ensure the enablement layer supports Agentic AI use cases without owning the model or workflow internals.

  • Collaborate with global teams, including program management, QA, security, and UX, to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade software.

  • Support brainstorming, product-shaping, process improvement, and team culture initiatives with creative technical input.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and Windows-based development environments.

  • Demonstrated use of AI-powered tools to accelerate software development.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a global team.


Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $129,600 - $207,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
