In this role, based at a U.S. Government facility in
Bethesda, MD, you will work with
state-of-the-art technologies to develop advanced
sonar tactical decision aids (TDAs) that directly support the Fleet. You'll be part of a
high-performing team whose mission-critical work shapes the Navy's tactical edge-making a
tangible impact on national security.
What You'll Work On- Develop and enhance Tactical Signature Guidance (TSG) systems, including sonar TDAs across multiple production code baselines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges while contributing innovative solutions.
- Learn and apply new programming languages and technologies, with mentorship and support from experienced teammates.
- Occasionally support hardware system configuration and build-out, gaining exposure to full system integration.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in an integrated team environment supporting a large-scale program.
- Own and deliver software solutions in Java, React, C++, and other modern languages.
- Learn and apply new technologies (e.g., Angular, Rust, Scala) to meet evolving needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with efficient solutions.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and support urgent requests when needed.
- Communicate clearly with teammates, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Travel occasionally to Manassas, VA for integration and team collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science or other degree that provides software development expertise equivalent to standard computer science curriculum
- Experience: Around 6 months of hands-on experience working in complex software environments
- Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
