Software Engineer III - AI/ML & Agentic AutomationAn active TS//SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role About this RoleWe're looking for a sharp, mission-driven Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of AI and operational tradecraft. In this hybrid Analyst/Developer role, you'll bring deep experience with large language models and AI-integrated Python pipelines to bear on mission-critical work that genuinely matters.
You won't just be writing code - you'll be shaping how intelligent automation is applied to real-world national security problems. From the earliest stages of conceptualization through deployment and beyond, you'll have a hand in every phase of the development lifecycle. You'll architect agentic AI workflows, conduct vulnerability research, analyze complex technical data, develop and document new tradecraft, and engage directly with customers to understand and deliver on their needs.
This is a role for someone who is as comfortable thinking through a hard problem as they are building the solution to it.
Requirements- Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that leverage autonomous planning and tool-use to streamline operations and improve system efficiency
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Python
- Conduct vulnerability analysis and contribute to ongoing research efforts
- Develop and document new tradecraft for internal and customer use
- Execute on customer requests and perform proactive customer outreach
- 12 years of relevant experience, or 8 years with a B.S. in a technical discipline
Technical skills you'll need to bring:- Deep experience leveraging large language models (LLMs) to solve complex problems, including expertise in prompt engineering and model optimization
- Proven ability to integrate AI into automated pipelines and production workflows using APIs and orchestration tools
- Strong Python development experience
- Data parsing and manipulation
- Networking knowledge and protocols
- Experience with open source research
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Salary Range$282,000 - $332,000
This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
