THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking an emerging leader, Software Engineer Sr, with an active Top Secret clearance to work from our King of Prussia, PA location.

This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of experience and a BS degree.

This position supports the National Security Space Mission Segment, under Sensing Ground, working within the Vehicle Unique Element (VUE) family of programs.

As an Software Engineering Architecture Capability Team Lead, you will:
• Have the opportunity to support and lead several large ground software capabilities focused on Infrastructure and Mission Domain Architecture that are cross-cutting through multiple Agile Development Teams (ADTs); with opportunities to grow responsibilities to related efforts within the customer base.
• Work with a stellar leadership team to guide execution and be a key customer interface for the VUE programs.
• The position requires the individual to facilitate resolution of programmatic, technical, and execution issues within and between geographically dispersed, system engineering and agile software development teams and mission partners.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience in a technical team lead role on a software development project(s) leveraging an agile methodology.
• Experience with DevSecOps tooling and methodologies
• Experience with both Linux and Windows OS Infrastructure and Architecture
• Experience using software development tools and methodologies (Gitlab, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Automated Testing)
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interface at all levels and with multiple departments virtually.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to independently problem-solve.
• Active Top Secret security clearance (with SCI eligibility) prior to starting this position.

• Software Development and/or System Engineering experience in the Space / Aerospace & Defense Industry.
