Standard Job Description
- Administers team infrastructure including RHEL virtual machines.
- Remediates cybersecurity findings on code and infrastructure.
- Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
- Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
- Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Ensures software standards are met.
Basic QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
- Experience with systems administration on Linux.
- Skills to troubleshoot issues with minimum supervision.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
- Ability to interpret requirements and implement them.
- Programming experience required.

- RedHat Open Stack, AWS, or other cloud platform

Familiarity with:
- Python, Java
- Object Oriented Methodologies and UML Modeling Techniques.
- OS background to include RedHat Linux, Windows;

- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, command & control.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Confluence
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $122600.00 - $227600.00
