Software Engineer (SME) - Huntsville, AL

Full Visibility is seeking a Software Engineer (SME) to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligibleclearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of the application development projects in support of IT infrastructure, including the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Software Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will perform technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Requirements
• Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least ten (10+) years of Software Engineer experience
• Experience designing and developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Python in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Databricks.
• Experience identifying technical strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Robust decision-making skills
• Experience with Terragrunt, Agile, Maven (Nice to have).
• Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience.
