U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer - Salesforce Development (Multiple openings) in McLean, VA.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design and implementation of Talech's Salesforce platform. Provide innovative solutions to address complex business objectives and system integrations using existing and emerging technology platforms. Specific duties include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce-based solutions using Salesforce Database Programing languages (SOQL, SOSL, DML), Salesforce Asynchronous Programing (Batch jobs, Queueable, future methods), and Salesforce declarative programing (Workflows, Process builders, flows, approval processes);
  • Perform Salesforce data migration and work with Salesforce Sharing and Security (OWD, Sharing rules, Apex sharing, Profiles, Permission Sets, Object and Field level permissions);
  • Develop automations and customizations within Salesforce to enable Omni-channel support;
  • Customize, develop, and support solutions on the force.com platform, drive Salesforce enhancements and improvements;
  • Build integrations between salesforce and other internal systems to automate business processes;
  • Develop custom code, perform code reviews and ensure successful deployments;
  • Enhance admin tools, implement automated permission set assignments, and improve logging with encrypted payloads; and
  • Implement encryption and decryption for sensitive payment credentials and ensure compliance with data protection policies.


Uses the following tools and technologies: Salesforce Database Programing languages (SOQL, SOSL, DML), Salesforce Asynchronous Programing (Batch jobs, Queueable, future methods), and Salesforce declarative programing (Workflows, Process builders, flows, approval processes), Salesforce Sharing and Security (OWD, Sharing rules, Apex sharing, Profiles, Permission Sets, Object and Field level permissions), JavaScript, Html, CSS, Json, XML, HTTP, SOAP API, and Rest API.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in a software development or engineering occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Salesforce Database Programing languages (SOQL, SOSL, DML), Salesforce Asynchronous Programing (Batch jobs, Queueable, future methods), and Salesforce declarative programing (Workflows, Process builders, flows, approval processes). 2) Salesforce Sharing and Security (OWD, Sharing rules, Apex sharing, Profiles, Permission Sets, Object and Field level permissions). 3) Utilizing JavaScript, Html, CSS, Json, and XML. 4) Performing Salesforce data migration. 5) Working with HTTP, SOAP API, and Rest API. 6) Building integrations between Salesforce and other internal systems to automate business processes. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. U.S. Bank is subject to and conducts background checks consistent with the regulatory requirements applicable to our industry and operations.
