Job DescriptionDescription SAIC is seeking a Software Developer to maintain a network, records system, and other analytical applications that collect and analyze data related to business operations. This work is performed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The overall goal is to improve the integrity and usability of data collected during day to day operation. This is achieved through the development of software systems.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Managing full lifecycle software development, including development schedules and deliverables in an Agile environment.
- Developing detailed software design and interface based and associated deliverables based on customer and system requirements.
- Coordinate, support and participate in program meetings and reviews.
Qualifications- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Experience developing single page applications using HTML5, CSS3, and Angular 21+.
- Experience developing Applications and RESTful web services using the following technologies or something similar: Solr, Elastic, Postgres, Java, Scala, RDS, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB (other on-the-job database experience accepted).
- Experience with and troubleshooting of Internet/Web related protocols and technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, and SSL).
- Experience developing JUnit and Jasmine tests and experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
- Experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Nexus.
Desired:
- Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud services.
Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
