Who We're Hiring:We are looking for a low-ego software engineer who can run with minimal oversight.
What You'll Do:- Build End-to-End Features
Own projects from idea to deployment - writing backend logic, frontend interfaces, and everything in between as needed. - Contribute to Technical Direction
Help shape architecture and technical decisions with input that matters - no ivory tower here, your voice has real weight. - Fix Problems Proactively
Tackle bugs and edge cases with urgency and care, especially since we don't have layers of QA - your code is the first line of defense. - Wear Multiple Hats
Jump between backend, frontend, DevOps, or data tasks depending on what's most important today - flexibility is key. - Improve Our Tools and Workflows
Help make our dev environment better: faster builds, cleaner pipelines, better testing - every improvement counts when the team is small. - Collaborate Closely
Work directly with teammates across engineering, product, and design. Communication and clarity are essential - no room for silos here. - Ship Frequently and Thoughtfully
We move fast, but not recklessly. You'll ship often, review thoroughly, and always keep the user experience in mind. - Make a Visible Impact
See your work go live quickly, get user feedback fast, and know that what you build directly impacts the direction of the company. - Keep Learning (and Teaching)
Everyone's still learning - we value curiosity, shared knowledge, and building each other up as we grow together.
What You Bring:We believe in giving people opportunities, so if you don't check all of the boxes below, don't let that hold you back.
- Solid engineering fundamentals
You have experience building, shipping, and maintaining real-world applications - especially across the full stack. You understand how the web works and enjoy solving both technical and product challenges. - Proficiency with our core tools (or the ability to learn fast)
You're comfortable with the technologies we use - Node.js, React, Remix, Prisma, Postgres and Hatchet - or have equivalent experience and can ramp up quickly. - Product-oriented thinking
You care about building software that actually solves problems. You're thoughtful about UX, know how to prioritize for impact, and are comfortable working without a 100-page spec. - Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments
You've worked on small teams or startups, or you're excited by that kind of setting. You're not afraid to ask questions, propose ideas, or dive into unfamiliar territory. - Strong Command of AI Development
We use AI...
a lot. You'll need to understand how to leverage Claude Code, Cursor and all the myriad of adjacent tools to ship as fast and with as high of quality as possible.
- Strong communication and ownership
You know how to keep teammates in the loop, give and receive feedback, and take responsibility for your work - from planning through production support. - Familiarity with infrastructure or interest in learning it
We use AWS extensively for deploying our software and appreciate folks who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty with deployment, DevOps, or observability tooling. - Curiosity and continuous learning
You like staying sharp and growing your skill set. You're the kind of person who shares a new tool in Slack or digs into a performance issue because you genuinely want to understand it.
