The Software Engineer at ID Technology is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of printer applicator firmware across ProMach L&C Print & Apply labeling systems. This position leads the design, deployment, and support of ID Technology's New Uptime software platform, delivering real-time monitoring, data collection, and analytics to improve IDT and Panther equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. The Software Engineer partners closely with service technicians, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to support software integration projects, resolve complex data connectivity issues, and deliver scalable software solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

The Software Engineer at ID Technology leads the design, deployment, and support of ID Technology's New Uptime software platform, delivering real-time monitoring, data collection, and analytics to improve IDT and Panther equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. The Software Engineer partners closely with service technicians, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to support software integration projects, resolve complex data connectivity issues, and deliver scalable software solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

• Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing support of ID Technology's New Uptime software platform, including real-time monitoring, data collection, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
• Develop and maintain printer applicator Uptime software similar to Panther Analytics and related equipment performance tools.
• Partner with service technicians and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex software, data connectivity, integration, and equipment communication issues.
• Support Sales with customer software integration projects, including evaluating customer requirements and recommending practical software solutions.
• Own the configuration, enhancement, onboarding, and ongoing support of CPQ applications, including adding new products and improving system functionality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Service to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions aligned with customer needs and business goals.
• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, software specifications, test plans, and user support materials as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or supporting software, firmware, embedded systems, or equipment communication platforms.
• Working knowledge of data connectivity, device communication, networked equipment, APIs, databases, and software integration concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across software, hardware, firmware, and customer network environments.
• Experience supporting CPQ, configuration tools, analytics platforms, or customer-facing software applications preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to internal teams, service technicians, sales partners, and customers.
