We are seeking a Software Engineer with both imagination and technical drive. Someone eager to help shape the future of weapons planning. In this role you'll craft high-impact applications that empower the warfighter, transform complex weapon planning data into clear, actionable insight, and push the boundaries of what modern mission planning systems can accomplish.

Responsibilities - What you'll do:
  • Play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating feature-rich applications and R&D projects
  • Collaborate with customers to identify functional requirements and develop quality solutions
  • Work with your team to test, develop, peer review, and continuously integrate changes into the code base
  • Conduct research for, report on, and create proof-of-concepts and prototypes for modern ways to support next generation aviation mission planning
  • Learn emerging technologies and programming tools to keep you and your team as well equipped as possible

Required Qualifications - We need someone who:
  • Has a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with 3 years of experience; an associate's degree with 7 years of experience; or no degree with 9 years of experience.
  • Has background in developing mission planning applications for the DoW
  • Actively programs with one or more of the following languages: C#, Razor, or Java
  • Has experience using Web frameworks such as Blazor, .NET MAUI, or ASP.NET
  • Demonstrates strong fundamental skills in software design and development and the ability to coordinate the team's workflow
  • Engages with teammates, both virtually and face-to-face, to plan projects, seek out or provide help on issues, as well as present solutions to clients
  • Manages time well and can prioritize a team's tasks to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation

Preferred Qualifications - It's even better if you:
  • Have experience developing containerized microservices in a Kubernetes environment
  • Have examples of code or applications you've built that we can check out
  • Are proficient with multiple IDEs, Languages, or Frameworks
  • Have a background taking an entire development through launch
  • Can demonstrate proficiency with AI-Assisted software development workflows
  • Received one or more Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer certifications or any other technical certifications
