Job Description
In this role we are seeking both a Software Engineer and Software Configuration Analysts to be part of the team.
A Software Engineer: Plans and conducts software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Test Support Software Development: Update and add new capabilities to legacy test support software used to test tactical equipment. Develop software using Object Oriented methodology C++ using Visual Studio, Gitlab, and Jira. Possible Python and/or Java scripting. Windows 10 development environment with integration of hardware and software, some possible embedded coding. Program developed Agile software process, full software lifecycle including updating requirements, design, coding, testing, and technical documentation.
Software Configuration Analysts: In this role, you will establish, capture and maintain software configuration baselines, maintain paperwork associated change orders for software, research, implement, and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, and delivery of both internally developed and externally procured commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.
Basic Qualifications
Experience that demonstrates:
• Research capabilities
• Demonstrated understanding of configuration and data management, including both software and documentation baselines
• Experience with Configuration/Version control, deployment, tracking and development tools (i.e. Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, Ansible)
• Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired skills

• Development in a Windows environment
• Experience in implementation in an object oriented environment
• Experience in Hardware/Software (HW/SW) integration and test

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $88,000 - $152,490. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
