Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Software Engineer on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base. This premier program encompasses traditional software services including Systems Design and Engineering, Database Administration, Data Science and Knowledge Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Integration and Test, as well as Operations and Systems Support. Your contributions are...
- Design and deploy agentic AI workflows leveraging autonomous planning and tool use to streamline internal operations and improve system efficiency
- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Python
- Conduct vulnerability analysis to support mission-critical initiatives
- Develop and document new tradecraft
- Execute customer requests and provide technical solutions aligned with mission needs
- Perform customer outreach to understand requirements and support strategic initiatives

- 12 years of experience in Software Engineering
- Deep experience leveraging LLMs to solve complex problems, including prompt engineering and model optimization
- Experience integrating AI into automated pipelines and production workflows using APIs and orchestration tools
- Strong experience with Python, including data parsing and manipulation
- Experience with networking concepts and protocols
- Experience conducting open source research
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence

Salary range: $170,000 - $240,000
