Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are seeking a software engineer to support development of next-generation Wafer Inspection tools. Following KLA Product Lifecycle methods, the candidate will participate in software architecture and design, design reviews, requirements definition for systems and subsystems, and development and maintenance of software features. Key responsibilities include preparing software requirements documents, analyzing software performance, developing critical features, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the U.S. and overseas, investigating escalated issues, and resolving defects.
Responsibilities- Be able to conduct software development activities using C++/C#, Managed C++, .NET in Windows 64-bit environment
- Participate in all stages of software development including deployment/trouble shooting at customer sites (for current products)
- Own assigned design and development tasks for current and future product generations.
- Work in a global environment to Interact with multi-site team members during software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration, and testing
- Work with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software design
Qualifications- Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience. OR master's Level Degree with 1 year of experience
- Software development experience using any one of the high-level programming languages such as C++, C# and .Net Framework
- Knowledge in STL, WinDBG and Windows Internals.
- Excellent architecture and design experience using modular / OOP / OOD methodology
- Hands-on experience on C#/C++ programming including multi-threading on Windows platform
- Proven track record on software design, implementation and unit testing using Microsoft VS C# /C++
- GUI design and implementation using .Net framework and .Net Core
- Documentation of software design artifacts and algorithm specifications
- Collaboration with SQE team on test case development and test execution
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in semiconductor process is very desirable
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience. OR Master’s Level Degree with at least 1 year of experience.

Base Pay Range: $114,800.00 - $195,200.00 Annually
